This Chia Berry Jam is the perfect addition to your breakfast if you live a low sugar lifestyle and don’t have a lot of time in the morning. It only takes 10 minutes to make and honestly tastes 10x better than most sugar free jams you’ll find at the store.
And don’t let those chia seeds scare you off! A lot of people avoid them because of the unpleasant texture, but I’ve got the perfect hack to get rid of it so you can enjoy this low sugar chia jam without that weird chia texture!
Secret To Making The BEST Chia Jam (No Weird Texture!)

If there’s anything I’ve learned as a person who doesn’t enjoy unusual textures, its that chopping will almost always solve the problem! So that’s exactly what I decided to do with chia seeds!
I just throw them in my spice grinder and let it chop them into a super fine chia powder
This allows us to use their thickening power without having to fight through the jelly / caviar texture they normally have

I always grind about 1/4 cup of chia seeds and keep the chia powder on hand for any time I want to make a fresh batch of jam
NOTE: You can also just add the jam and chia seeds to your blender instead, but you’d have to make a double or triple batch of jam for it to blend properly
Ingredients For This Chia Berry Jam
Strawberries – Any berry will work but a combo of strawberry and blueberry is a favorite in my house!
Blueberries – I prefer wild blueberries because they have more antioxidants than regular ones. You can find them in the frozen section of your grocery store, but any blueberry will do so use what you’ve got!
TIP! Frozen berries work best for this. They’re extra juicy, and usually sweeter than berries you buy in store since they’re picked at peak ripeness!
Allulose – This sweetener has little to no impact on blood sugar and will keep our jam nice and smooth
Granulated Monk fruit – I like to add a little bit of granulated monk fruit to balance out the sweetness of the chia jam since allulose is less sweet than sugar
Kosher Salt – A small pinch of salt to enhance the flavor of our chia jam
Lemon Juice (Optional) – A little acid really brightens up the flavor of the jam. I recommend doing this to taste since the sweetness of your berries will always be a little different. Tart fruit = no lemon Sweet Fruit = Lemon
Vanilla (Optional)
Now that you have everything you need lets make some jam!
